I make Windsor Chairs in much the same way they were made 200 years ago. My small one-man shop is located in the heart of Jonesborough’s Historic District. I have published numerous articles on chairmaking and have taught in many craft schools both here and abroad. I am a co-founder of GreenWood, a community- based sustainable forestry initiative in Latin America. My chairs are in the permanent collection of the Tennessee State Museum, the Southern Highlands Craft Guild, the Tennessee State Governor’s Mansion and Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson.
