In this two hour spoon carving seminar, Curtis remotely teaches Elia Bizzarri his method for carving a spoon. First, a spoon blank is split from a log, dimensioned to a 9/16" thickness with a drawknife and steam bent. The bowl is carved with a gouge and the back of the bowl and the handle are carved with a drawknife and a spokeshave. Finishing cuts are done with a sloyd knife. At the end, there is a 30 minute question and answer session with the participants. This video was shot in September of 2020.

The link below will direct you to a PayPal page for Elia Bizzarri. After making payment you will receive an e-mailed password to view and download the video. If you don’t get the email within a half-hour, please email Elia at elia@handtoolwoodworking.com (but first check your e-mail spam folder).
